Hi Ladies,
So I don't know about you ladies but I've been kinda hesitant on protein powder Bryan drinks it after his workout but I never have. But I read an article in Women's health magazine that said you should have half of your body's weight in protein a day. I thought well I get enough protein in my diet. I use MFP (my fitness pal) and realized that I don't so I tried a recipe I found today for a protein shake, Not just any protein shake the BEST one Peanut butter chocolate protein shake. I was kinda skeptical about it but I thought well I'll give it a try. AMAZING!

what's been going on
Hi Ladies,
I've been working sooo much and trying to get my workouts in, to eat right, spend time with friends and family. To be perfectly honest I think I'm failing at all of it. Then I hear how happy my kids are and that I make my Bryan happy too and I think maybe I can be supermom??
We've finally slowed down for the minute at work so that's one thing that I don't have to worry about anymore, I truly believe you have to love what you do or you'll become resentful and angry. I LOVE MY JOB. which makes it easy to get up in the mornings and get going. My life is so crazy most of the time that going to work is like a vacation, it gives me that coming home from a long vacation feeling when I come to work. If that ever stops I'll know its time to move on. but ENOUGH about how much I love my job.
As of right now I'm at about 110 miles and I have decided to have a new challenge 500 miles!!! Am I crazy? maybe but I want to be that girl who walked 500 miles to the one she loves ;) (sorry if that song is stuck in your head now lol NOT) Corny I know but Bryan is deploying soon to Guam and I have to do something with all my free time. I also need to work towards a goal or I will never finish.
I've also been getting ready for my bestest of friend to get married, I'm planning her bachelorette party with her sister and I think we've got some really cute and fun ideas! I mean it cant be boring right??!! who knew a guest list could be the hardest thing we work on!
My kids first day of school was yesterday and I LOVE the 1st day of school, taking pictures and hearing about how exciting school was. I'm so thankful my kids love school right now cause I know soon it wont be the case. The work with get harder and their want to is going to turn into do I have to. Most of all its memories we're making after all that mean the most...

95 miles
I just realized today I'm at 95 miles on the nose, I didn't mean to do it that way it just happened. I CAN NOT believe that me, Bobbie Sue, I walked/jogged almost 100 miles in a month. I cant believe I'm about to exceed 100 miles in 3 more days. I want to cry because I'm so happy, Its sad to say but its been soo long since I finished something I started. But I was determinded and I had a great support team to help me do it.
There have been days where I didn't want to do anything, and well I didn't just flat out said NO. then there were other days where I pushed it out and went on my walks. A lot of the time they were slow walks, Hell when I started I did a mile in like 20 mins. that's a VERY slow pace but I kept thinking to myself that I was passing everyone up that was laying on the couch. I started pushing myself to be faster to get down to 19 min mile then 18 and so forth and so on, my fastest mile to date is 16:04. I know that's slow to some people but for me its a feat in itself.
I'm so proud of myself and can't wait to challenge myself again....but what will that be?? I'm not sure yet!

Feeling sexy today??
Do you ever have those days where you look in the mirror and say Whistle MAN I'M SEXY?? Well that was me today. my BIG girl jeans fit and weren't too uncomfortable. I know a lot of people would say you don't need to lose weight. You know they are probably right but I personally don't want to move up in a jean size so that's how I know its time to start doing something to make me those BIG girl pants TOO big for me to where. For me its all about making a better me for me and my family.

Aug 1st-A new challenge
Good Friday Morning Ladies,
So for the past couple of weeks I have been on a challenge to walk 100 miles in 1 month and I'm so far succeeding and that makes me feel AMAZING! So I wanted to try something else but I don't know what to try just yet. I'm playing around with the 30 day shred right now, I've tried it before and have never actually made it the 30 days :( So that's one idea I've toyed with. and right now I haven't really lost any weight even with all my miles and all my watching what I eat. which as you know is SUPER frustrating. So I decided to join this group its called Mama Laughlin's fit camp, I think I've talked about it before but I'll say it again, Its an amazing tool to help you get motivated and to sound off, ask questions and just read about real women going through the same struggle you are. Check it out on FB its wonderful. With that said my month is almost over and I will have walked my 100 miles in that time I went from walking a mile in 19 mins to walking/jogging a mile in 16 mins. I know that probably doesn't sound fast but its more the miles for me than the time, that and burning calories. Its an accomplishment and it makes me want to try the shred again. cause if I can walk for 30 to an hr twice a day for 30 days then I can do a 20 min workout once a day for 30 days. RIGHT??!!!
So I'm going to tell you all about how this next 30 days or so goes with me trying EVERYTHING under the sun to get ANY amount of weight off. (nothing crazy) I really just want to see the 130's again ANYTHING in that range would make me a happy lady.
These are my thoughts on a Friday morning, here's to hoping I dont gain 2 pounds over the weekend!

Alone time
Next week I will find out what alone time is all about. I mean I already have alone time with myself when I excerise but like for reals this time for more than an hour. What Oh what will I do with myself, that is the question I ask. I'm thinking movies and crafts maybe more pinterest stuff. Lets face it I love doing stuff from pinterest so that will probably be it. I have a few baby gifts I need to finish up for some friends of mine and catching up with my besties too ofcourse!
